I got a coloring book by the same artist and liked it so much I bought this calendar. Now I have just over 2 months to get it colored before January! I love the detailed pictures with the little boxes, you don't have to have any talent to do them neatly, which is great in my case. Adult coloring is the new big thing for relaxation and stress reduction, and it works. You get so focused on these little boxes you forget about whatever was bugging you. The best picture is the lion on the front. The rest aren't as good. Gave it to my 7 yr old daughter.
There are typos in this calendar, and the week begins on Monday which can lead to confusion when I'm quickly glancing at it.
3.5 STARS - Not quite challenging enough for my handicapped younger sister. Construction is good and the price is right however.
Not the best quality. Pages are difficult to bend over nicely and there isn't a hole to hang the calendar. The artwork is cool though.
As described. Very intricate for adult coloring! Binding too tight for ease of working or displaying. Otherwise excellent product.
Got this for a friend, and she loved it!
The pictures are great, and I like that I can color on the pages with colored pencils, but I'm disappointed with the actual calendar part. The lines don't extend through the whole page, leaving what should be boxed dates just empty space with numbers evenly spaced through the column. I'm also not a fan of the calendar starting with Monday, leaving Sunday as the last day of the week. This calendar is also much smaller than what I thought I'd get, the pages being the same size as printer paper (I clearly didn't read the product dimensions, so that's my fault, but the "large print" near the product title threw me off). If I had wanted something to simply color I would have spent a couple more dollars and gotten a full coloring book, but I was most interested in having a calendar. I would have had better luck printing off my own calendar pages and attaching coloring book pictures than what I got from this.
